The People Who Lift Me Up

Rebirth!!!

How many times is a person blessed enough to come out of one's own self inflicted cocoon a brand new person with a brand new look?! Well, my creative, yet "tipsy" side has done just that and has gone through a wonderful rebirth which I am thrilled to share with you!

I have been struggling with this "rebirth" for a few years now but sometimes you just need a wonderful friend and angel to come help you before the light breaks through the clouds of uncertainty. My creative angel was Sam, know by many as Madame Samm. Her blog is http://sewdollswhosnext.blogspot.com/ and if you have not seen her dolls yet or read her words you are in for a beautiful treat! She is crazy talented and one of the best, kind, and caring ladies you will ever meet! Sam saw my struggles and spent much time with me on the phone walking me through my blogs new look. She then, out of the kindness of her heart, took what I have been wishing for, for years but just could not grasp, and designed a gorgeous logo for me which is now proudly displayed at the top of my blog as well as my website. Tipsy Teacup Creations is alive and breathing and I cannot thank you enough sweet, dear, beautiful Sam! THANK YOU!

My new website is  http://tipsyteacup.com/

Why Tipsy Teacup Creations? Well, it just could not fit me better!

1.I am tipsy enough for two people! My hair color may change several times a year but under it all, I am true natural sandy blonde and loving it!

2.Life really does tend to throw major tips our way but somehow someway we manage to keep that pile of teacups stacked. Amen to that!

3. I had a BEAUTIFUL childhood with many beautiful dolly tea parties. These memories are priceless and I love that I am able to let them live even more through my creations.

4. Last but not least, those who know me know I have a sleeve (tats covering one arm) in the works of Alice in Wonderland merged with Dr. Seuss. Well the Mad Hatters tea party was always one of my favorite parts as a child so I have a very large stack of tipsy teacups tattooed down the back of my arm.

So you see, it was the perfect choice!

I do so hope you share in my smiles when you get the chance and take a peek at my site. The inside pages are still undergoing a lot of work but I will finish surely but slowly.

I also so hope you take a peek at Madame Samm's blog and share smiles in her talent. You will not regret it! Her dolls are normally gone as soon as she gets one completed but if you keep checking back you might just get lucky! They are fabulous and so is she!

  3. Oh dearest Ree, I am reminded of one of my dear friends Troy who is a constant source of inspiration..." when you lift others, so too do you lift yourself"...So it is from the bottom of my gracious heart to meet creators like yourself, so unique, so enchanting, that all I really want to do is share YOU....And if that is by sharing some of my talent, then so be it...What a shame when we think of all that we possess, each and everyone of us, that we hold back...PSsst if they only knew how delish it is to just put it out there...
I have to say like I said to Noniska, I know a Princess Maker and a Designer of Baby Giants...now how many can say that...
    I can...blessings...

  5. Hi Jess!!!

So true, Sam truly is an angel! Thank you so much about my blog, I am just 100% tickled pink and beaming!

A nice rain is always a beautiful thing. I have loved rain days since early childhood. Just something special about them.

Yanno, I am going to have to fish out my drawing of Beetyle (my halloween girl) I had actually put wings on her when I drew her out before I made her. They were butterfly wings but I messed the first set up and did not have time to do another. I like the idea of angel wings even better! Ofcourse I did not make a pattern for Beetyle and the orig doll sold so I am hoping down the road I can pull off another similar one LOL

Before I go I just have to say how much I love your dolls. They are so special and just full of sparkle. I know I have prob told you in the past on CDA but I just looooooooove them so much!!!

    Wishing you a beautiful day!!!

  7. Friends truly are blessings. I read on Bone Head Studio's blog that God does not always send you the people you want, but will always send the people you need or something like that. So glad Madame Samm came through for you. I have added your blog to mine on my list of favorites. If this is not ok let me know. P.S...Love the new blog look. It's great.
